Returns and Refunds Terms and Conditions
The following terms do not affect your statutory rights.
General
If you change your mind the Museum will accept returns as long as the following conditions are met.
1.Any items is returned within 28 days of the date of purchase.
2.The item is to be returned in its original condition (i.e. unused and unworn).
3.The item should be returned in the original packing.
4.When no proof of purchase (i.e. receipt) is provided no cash refunds will be available.
5.Items returned outwith the 28 day period may be exchanged. However, no cash refund will be provided. 6.Refunds will be applied to the credit card that was used to purchase the item.
7.Please allow up to 7 working days for the transaction to be processed.
8.Identification and/or verification (i.e. credit card statement) will be required for all refunds where no receipt (proof of purchase) is provided.
Making Returns
Items can be returned by post or delivery to the following address:
Scottish Football Museum Shop, Hampden Park, Glasgow G42 9BA
It is your responsibility to ensure that your returned items are in appropriate protective packaging.
You may wish to use a recorded delivery service as the Museum cannot be held responsible for items not received.
If you require an exchange of item the Museum shop will be happy to discuss this with your directly. Please include written details of your requirements together with the item(s) being returned. Alternatively, you may wish to telephone the shop on 0141 616 6120. The Museum shop will be happy to take your replacement order.
Once the Museum shop has received the original item back from you we will dispatch a replacement within 7 working days.
To ensure that your refund is processed as quickly as possible please ensure the following:
1.Send the product in its original packing.
2.Please pack the product so that it will not be damaged during the return shipping/delivery process.
3.Include proof of purchase.
Returning a damaged or faulty item
Every effort is made to ensure that items/goods bought from the Museum are of excellent manufacturing quality. Therefore, should there be any issues regarding the quality of item or the item having become defective the Museum reserves the right to return the item to the manufacturer for inspection before any action will be undertaken.
If the item is defective please contact the Museum shop on 0141 616 6120.
The item must be returned to the Museum shop within 28 days of purchase to the address above.
It should be returned in its original condition with all original labels and packaging to be intact and present.
The item will then be inspected for consideration in respect of replacement item or refund of payment.
Personalised Items
N.B Personalised items (i.e. personalised printed shirt) cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the original order was incorrectly completed by the Museum.
It is important that when the order is made all print details given are correct.
In order to prolong the life of your shirt printing please follow the following guidelines:
.Gently hand wash items in warm water
.Never dry clean the item
.Never tumble dry the item
.Never iron the item
