Firhill For Thrills (July - December 2009)

From late July and running for six months in the museum’s special exhibition space the Scottish Football Museum will commemorate Partick Thistle this year celebrating 100 years at their Firhill stadium.

Built in 1909 Firhill has undergone many changes over the years and has seen some of Thistle's most memorable achievements. With a current capacity of 10,784 the ground has drawn massive crowds in its lifetime, with a record 49,838 in a game against Rangers in 1922.
This exhibition will celebrate Firhill's exciting history.
