Alan Hansen

1955 —

Alan Hansen helped Partick Thistle win the First Division Championship in 1976 and enjoyed the following season in Scotland’s top flight before moving on to Liverpool for a £110,000 fee in 1977. He would become a mainstay of Liverpool’s greatest ever team along with Graeme Souness and Kenny Dalglish. During his time at Anfield Hansen won three European Cups, eight League Championship titles, three League Cups and two FA Cups. He made a total of 434 appearances for Liverpool, scoring eight goals. The successful TV analyst also won 26 caps for Scotland between 1982 and 1987.
