Willie Bauld

1927 — 1977

Surprisingly Willie Bauld only won three caps for Scotland although he also represented the Scottish League 13 times. A member of the “terrible trio” which included Jimmy Wardhaugh and Alfie Conn he was affectionately known as “the King” at Tynecastle scoring 277 goals in 466 matches. Bauld was a Scottish League Champion in 1960, a Scottish Cup winner in 1956, a Scottish League Cup winner in 1955, and 1959, and a Scottish League Cup finalist in 1962.
