The Scottish Football Museum in Hampden Park has lifted a top prize in the Glasgow 2015 Awards.

The awards celebrate the achievements of the Glasgow community – the people and the businesses that have a made a difference to the development of the city in the past 12 months. The winners were selected by a public vote.

Chair of the Scottish Football Museum Robert Craig commented: “The award is testament to the hard work of all the Museum staff involved. What makes it all a little more special is that it was voted for by the general public.

“The Museum is a relative newcomer to Glasgow. The wonderful exhibits on show reflect the nation’s love and passion for Scottish football. The staff has a wealth of knowledge on the game and, combined with their friendly and courteous manner, visitors leave with an experience they will never forget and frequently want to repeat.

“I am delighted with award and delighted for everyone involved with the Museum.”
